What do I do ?

Improve health and well being: 

I offer a holistic approach to my students because we can incorporate the traditional techniques of martial arts with the mind balancing techniques of meditation, breathing, mind over matter and anticipation. This leads to expansion and contraction of the limbic and nervous systems, which in turn creates an almost immediate real feeling of calm and challenge at the same time.
Theses exercises are a great method of relaxation, helping to remove tension and tiredness caused by stress.

They also assist you efficiently in challenging situations, without the effect of accumulating tension. You will improve the ability of focus and efficient learning. Learning Yi Quan mildly stimulates the whole body and internal organs, improving immunological resistance, enhancing the body’s ability of self-regulating.

Satisfaction from learning about yourself and nature: 

The mind of the master is the path of the weak man.  I train the weak in mind, body and spirit to attain the mindset of the master. In order to do this we need to set targets, plans, levels of challenge and reward and train!

I will assist you on your journey to attain your goals.

You will learn modern interpretations of classical concepts of Chinese Martial Arts. You will experience both comfortable and extremely challenging situations. I will help you to become successful in many fields and will give you  better knowledge about yourself enabling authentic self-development.

Become physically fit and develop self-defense skills:

I will train you to enhance strength, stamina, agility and fast reactions. I will also assist you in achieving very subtile levels of coordination. You will eventually develop efficient use of body in combat and in various life situations.

I can work with any person of any age and any level of fitness… Anyone who is looking to expand their mental and physical understanding of what it means to become a human who can at will, remove any mental or physical barrier.

If your goals are to become mentally stronger this is a sure result of training with me. If your goals are fitness, strength and endurance oriented, we will certainly surpass any goals you could have set for yourself. I refine the unity between your mind and body link.

There is an aspect of boxing that I incorporate into my standing meditation training and that is to CULTIVATE YOUR QI (also known as tone, prana, life force…). This is achieved by hard work, determination, practice, study and training with a guide who is caring yet strict. I work within the parameters of energy within the body, so our training is centered around how we can shift, move, alter, guide and rejuvenate your internal activity thus becoming almost ageless.

With rigorous training your life will begin to transform into your best life, the life you always dreamed of having!

How Do We Train and Why You Should Train With Me ?

I employ the techniques taught to me by my masters in France and China and rigorously train the mind to reinforce the body.  I have trained famous athletes, singers, teachers, entrepreneurs, fighters and anyone interested in gaining unique access to their mind and body control. We work on breathing and how to control your breath while standing in meditation with a smile on your face. I train with extreme precision and we look at everything from body stance to footing, the spinal rounding, the shoulders, arms, legs, facial expressions, and other non-traditional ways of integrating thousands of years of martial arts practice.

WHO CAN I TRAIN ?​

I train persons who are interested in correct posture and correct ways of being able to control an active mind through unique body movements. Some of these are so small you could barely measure them. This is the martial ART aspect of what I teach.

There is another aspect to fighting at an advanced level and this is the art of “Tui Shu.” (Pushing Hands)

There are secrets that the masters have handed down to me throughout the years and as we train, and you are ready, these secret training techniques will be taught to you and then we will carefully train together and practice them.

We will discuss how and why the martial aspect of the fight has become the Art of understanding how extremely small movements can have a huge impact on not only shaping and sculpting your body in ways you never thought possible… but we will understand how these tiny movements largely shape the way you are able to control your mind…thus greatly improving your ability to approach your life with new focus, mental and physical strength, and control over the active mind. 

This will help with your daily life in every way!

The bottom line is simple: holding your standing meditation in the proper stance and right posture, with the proper mental image (which we will evaluate with time and practice), will make your mind STRONG! If your mind is strong then your body will follow and will activate your mind. 

Where intention goes energy flows!

This is the core of my teaching methodology… the way to increase your energy is by using specific channels that organize the mind and intention in order to allow the body to be energized and STRONG!

Many people make the mistake of thinking if your train your body so hard and neglect the mind that a balance can be found.  It is impossible to find balance in your mind or body if you do not work and train the mind through body movement techniques.  I have studied these and worked with every level of interest in these topics.

I have to say I wondered how this would go being it was online - but it was fantastic ! Lucas is very focused and is watching very closely how my body is moving or not moving.
